The lovely folks at Disciple Clothing asked me to draw Jesus stabbing the devil with a big sword. I did exactly that! I drew this one by hand with pencil and paper first and then scanned my shaded artwork and added the colors and details digitally. I’m quite happy with how they printed it huge on the shirt like they did.

Hey! Seeing this was pretty crazy… I started my own small Christian design company a few months ago. I’ve spent quite a bit of time on GoMedia reading and researching and buying templates and whatnot…so I was familiar with your name.
I’ll be going to a music festival in Sept. to set up a vendor booth, and I was checking out the competition and came across Disciple Clothing’s website…I was immediately drawn to this shirt. I was thinking to myself, man I gotta talk to them when I get there to see if they design the stuff themselves…maybe I could learn a thing or 2. Somehow I happened to stumble onto a link to the shirt here on your blog. Guess that answers the question as to whether or not I’ll meet the designer at the festival! Nice work man, this is an awesome design.
